Few people have been as close to blue-green algae as Tamera Campbell. She grew up right on Klamath Lake with her parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.
In 1978, Tamera met the scientist who first discovered the benefits of the algae found in Klamath Lake. Once grown, Tamera pursued some interesting careers, such as commercial underwater gold mining, road building and aggregate rock crushing, business and accounting, and international marketing. After traveling the U.S., Tamera returned to Oregon and began a company to harvest the algae.
She has worked for years with health professionals, supplying them with algae for use with alternative health care. Tamera and her family have taken algae for years to maintain optimal health.
